I officially started Stud Muffin in early 2013 — but the heart behind it started long before that.

What began as a side hustle that would hopefully let me quit my corporate job, turned into a creative outlet during early motherhood and slowly evolved into something much deeper. I’m a mom of two boys, and in those early years, once they were asleep, I’d sneak out to my “office” — which was really just a storage room in my garage — and design jewelry late into the night. I would source materials, make pieces by hand, pack orders, print labels, answer emails, and dream about what this little brand could become.

Thirteen years later, I still wear every hat.

Sourcing. Designing. Making. Fulfilling. Shipping. Marketing. Social media. Customer service. Every single Stud Muffin package has passed through my hands.

But what has evolved most is the why.

Stud Muffin isn’t just jewelry. It’s armor.

My goal has always been to create pieces that help people feel calmer, safer, and protected in a world that can feel loud and unpredictable. Saints, crosses, medals — they’re not trends to me. They’re reminders. Anchors. Symbols of strength. I want what you wear to mean something. I want it to feel like protection wrapped in beauty.

The 60’s and 70’s have my whole heart — the soul, the freedom, the rock-n-roll edge, the faith, the grit. Even if it’s just playing that music while I design, that era lives inside this brand. It’s where softness meets rebellion. Where faith meets fashion.

Stud Muffin grew up alongside me.

From a tired young mom designing in a garage storage room… to a woman who understands that jewelry can be more than an accessory.

It can be grounding.

It can be powerful.

It can feel like home.

Thank you for being here. Truly.
